Role Overview
The Automotive Technician is a core operational leader within our shop and a critical contributor to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
This role requires technical excellence, discipline, accountability, and consistency. The successful candidate takes pride in workmanship, follows processes precisely, and performs reliably under workload pressure.
This is not an entry-level role and not a temporary position.
Selection & Evaluation Process
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a 1-day unpaid evaluation / working assessment period.
This period is used to assess:
- Diagnostic accuracy and repair quality
- Efficiency and time management
- Ability to follow procedures and safety standards
- Tool usage and shop organization
- Professional conduct and teamwork
Only candidates who meet our standards will receive a formal job offer and 10-year employment contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle issues accurately
- Perform repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer and shop standards
- Complete inspections and document findings clearly
- Use diagnostic tools, equipment, and shop systems properly
- Communicate technical findings to service advisors and management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Take ownership of workmanship and repair outcomes

Requirements
- Permanent authorization to work in Canada (no expiry)
- Willingness to sign a 5-year employment contract
- Proven experience as an automotive technician
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own tools (as required by shop standards)
- Strong English communication skills
- Professional attitude and work ethic
