Part-Time Cleaner
Location: North Portal
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 3 Days Per Week
Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Breaks: 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to provide cleaning and janitorial services at our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment through routine cleaning duties and occasional seasonal maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning Duties
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and wipe accessible horizontal surfaces, including office desks, ledges, windowsills, and baseboards.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners as required.
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, offices, and workspaces.
- Spot clean walls, doors, and other surfaces as needed.
Kitchen and Break Room Maintenance
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and lunchroom areas.
- Polish and clean appliances, including microwaves, refrigerators, and other kitchen equipment.
- Clean countertops, sinks, cupboards, and tables.
Glass and Surface Cleaning
- Clean and polish mirrors, glass doors, windows, and other glass surfaces.
- Ensure surfaces are free of fingerprints, smudges, and streaks.
Periodic and Seasonal Duties
- Assist with snow shoveling and ice removal during winter months.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks as required.
- Support special cleaning projects and additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
