I'm a man in my 40s with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), and I'm hiring someone to support me living my life at home, on my own terms. In this role, your approach and values matter more than your formal training or relevant experience. The focus is on independent living – it’s not about following rigid care plans, but rather about enabling me to live the life I choose. If you want work that feels meaningful because you're actually making someone's life better and not just completing tasks, then this might be the role you've been looking for!
