Recently graduated from university or college? Looking to launch your healthcare / physiotherapy career and gain hands-on clinic experience?
Enjoy working with people, and different locations across Ottawa (Nepean, Stittsville, Manotick, Orleans)?
Looking for your first step into a rewarding healthcare career?
Physiotherapist-owned clinic management team seeking a friendly, dedicated, outgoing individual with a passion for client care and a drive to build a career in healthcare. We pride ourselves on delivering evidence-based, one-on-one individualized physiotherapy care — and we bring that same commitment to how we support our team. No prior experience required; we invest in thorough training, provide ongoing feedback, and welcome new ideas from team members.
** MUST to have your own car for transportation (gas support provided).
** MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR FULL-TIME WORK BEYOND THIS SUMMER.
We currently manage 4 locations across Ottawa (Orleans to Stittsville). Our team is our greatest strength — our staff retention speaks for itself, with team members who have been with us over 25 years. We foster a fun, welcoming, and relaxed work environment where you can do your best work independently, grow with real feedback, and feel part of something that lasts. Just great people doing great work. Motion Works Physiotherapy is committed to being the best partner to our team members & clients.
This is a full-time roving role covering 4 Ottawa clinics— see “About Your Schedule” below for details. Minimum 30–37 paid hours per week (Mon–Fri, occasional Sat).
Our services include: physiotherapy (Orthopedics, Pelvic Floor, Vestibular, Concussion, Craniosacral Therapy, Shockwave Therapy, Motor Vehicle Collision rehab, Paediatrics, and more), massage therapy, registered dietitian, chiropodist/pedorthist (custom orthotics), and more.
About Your Schedule:
Your schedule is planned in advance — typically set 1-2 weeks prior and finalized by Friday for the following week — so you always know where you’re headed. When you’re not covering an absent staff member, we assign your clinic based on tasks but also where you live, keeping your commute as short as possible, when possible. That said, this is a roving role by design: you’ll rotate across all four locations regularly, which is what makes it such a rich learning experience.
The one thing we need from you is genuine flexibility. If a colleague calls in sick same-day, your site or shift time may change on short notice — for example, scheduled 9 AM–5 PM in Manotick but shifted to noon–8 PM in Nepean. These changes don’t happen every week, but they do happen, and being comfortable with that is essential for this role.

- Passionate about client care.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and oral communication in English (French an asset).
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and Google Sheets; experience with ClinicMaster or similar clinic software is a bonus, but not required.
- Any experience in healthcare, hospitality, or volunteer settings is an asset.
- Own car - for transportation between clinics.
