If you like to inspire students, then we want you on our team! You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the academic tools to teach at our centre. As a successful instructor, you will teach Sylvan programs, assist with homework, interact with and motivate students, evaluate and document student progress, and communicate student needs to directors.
We currently have specific needs for teachers of all subjects and grades in Oakville, and all passionate about education and supporting kids are encouraged to apply. You will inspire students by developing a rapport with them and establishing a fun learning environment, maintaining a positive attitude, and demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching and for Sylvan.
This is a part-time position starting with two to six shifts per week. Flexible shifts are available. Our instructional hours are currently 4-8pm on week days and 10-1pm on Saturdays.

Requirements:
Must hold a Bachelor of Education degree (or be currently enrolled in B.Ed program).
Must hold an Ontario College of Teachers Certificate ( or have begun the process).
For some of our programs, we also consider applicants who are currently enrolled in an engineering, science, math, or business degree.
