Position: Dental Hygienist
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice to cover a Maternity Leave. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental hygiene services, and contribute to a smooth and efficient clinical environment. Duties
- Take dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Perform sterilization and infection control procedures
- Provide dental hygiene services including scaling, root plaining and polishing
- Apply Guided Biofilm Therapy principles using Airflow Prophylaxis Master units
- Collaborate with the dentist and team members to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the CDHO
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Current CPR certification
