Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of wood, drywall, concrete forms, siding, and other materials. Your expertise will help bring building projects to life, ensuring safety, quality, and precision in every task. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute projects
- Build and install frameworks, walls, partitions, and other structures using hand tools and power tools
- Set up and dismantle concrete forms for pouring foundations or other concrete structures
- Install drywall, siding, and perform finishing work to achieve smooth surfaces and professional appearance
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary for material handling or structural placement
- Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials and components into position for assembly or installation
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, including repairs and modifications to improve durability or appearance
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for precise execution of tasks
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including woodworking, concrete finishing, drywall installation, and siding application
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders)
- Experience with concrete forming and finishing processes to create solid foundations or structural elements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed on job sites
- Knowledge of welding techniques for specialized structural repairs or custom fabrications
- Construction experience with a focus on restoration projects or custom carpentry work

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
