Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook specializing in breakfast service to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve food promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all food safety procedures, including proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques, especially breakfast dishes
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience within the food industry is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
