Job Summary
FairShare Vacation Rentals is hiring a weekend Vacation Home Quality Inspector.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and reliable who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team. It is also a great fit for people who want meaningful hospitality work in a respectful and positive company.
Inspectors are responsible for checking vacation homes before guest arrival to ensure they meet FairShare standards for cleanliness, presentation, supplies, safety, and guest readiness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vacation rental properties according to established standards and guidelines.
- Identify and document any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Verify that all amenities and appliances are in working order and check for damage.
- Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally with office management and maintenance teams.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections using a mobile app.
- Spot clean as needed and perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Maintain company vehicle supplies, load/unload linen bags.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in Canada (Sorry, no sponsorships).
- Must currently reside in the Bow Valley area or within commuting distance at time of applying.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify even minor issues.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally, and perform repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking, and stair use throughout the shift.
