We are currently exploring the addition of an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join a growing legal team in Ottawa. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated lawyer who enjoys handling residential real estate transactions independently while also contributing to commercial matters as needed.
Manage residential real estate files from start to finish, including purchases, sales, refinances, transfers, and private mortgages
Conduct title reviews, review and draft agreements, and ensure compliance with Ontario real estate regulations
Communicate directly with clients, lenders, realtors, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process
Handle closings efficiently and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Support and collaborate with clerks, assistants, and other lawyers within the firm
Assist with commercial real estate transactions, leasing, and financing matters when required
Deliver practical, client-focused legal advice with strong attention to detail
