Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented Travel Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with booking airline tickets, providing travel recommendations, and delivering exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with domestic and international flight bookings.
- Recommend travel options, packages, and additional services based on customer needs.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into bookings.
- Stay informed about airline policies, travel requirements, and industry updates.
- Process reservations, payments, and travel documentation accurately.
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals.
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in the travel industry is an asset but not required.
- TICO Certification is an asset. Candidates who are not currently TICO certified must be willing to obtain their TICO Certification.
- Proficiency with computer systems and online booking tools.
