Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our Laundry team. Duties
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines efficiently and safely.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items according to type and care instructions.
- Ensure all linens, towels, and guest clothing are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Fold, organize, and stock clean laundry in designated storage areas for easy access by staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in the laundry process.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or shortages promptly.
Experience
- Prior experience in laundry services or similar cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundry machinery and cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Knowledge of proper handling of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
