Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy duty diesel mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery and trucks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency in using power tools.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues in heavy equipment and diesel trucks
- well versed for work on Cummins, Cat and Detriot.
- Utilize power tools and welding techniques to complete repairs effectively.
- Needs to be familiar with computer software.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in using various power tools and welding equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- 310T Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic license
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
