Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using advanced tools and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Interpret vehicle schematics and technical diagrams to ensure accurate repairs
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist with vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for repairs or maintenance needs
- Support the team with general maintenance tasks around the shop as needed
Skills
- Proven dealershipexperience / independent or mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly tools effectively
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic software
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual labor involved in vehicle repairs
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to automotive repair environments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
