We are looking for a responsible, safe, experienced driver for a shuttle service from Edmonton to rural oil & gas camp sites!
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team on call. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to navigate efficiently in diverse environments. The Driver will play a key role in ensuring timely, safe, and comfortable transportation for our clients.
This position is ON CALL.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles for transporting clients to designated locations
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the vehicle before and after trips
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules, routes, and any delays or issues
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger needs courteously and professionally
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance reports as required
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and abstrac.
- Experience highway driving ; strong customer service skills required
- Must be available on a ON CALL.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clients
- Mechanical knowledge helpful for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
- Ability to demonstrate responsible driving habits and prioritize passenger safety
- Strong organizational skills for scheduling and record keeping
- Writing skills beneficial for completing reports or documentation related to trip
THIS IS A ON CALL POSITION, you will be dispatched. This position offers bonuses.
