ALL ABOUT CARE is seeking mature social companions to join our team and are looking for their furry friends to join!. We are looking for part time support in all quadrants of the city for a companion to visit some isolated seniors with pets.
Do you love working with seniors and want to bring some sunshine into their lives? The ideal candidate has a big heart and is looking to fill some of their free time with meaningful work.

Duties
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations, activities, and recreational pursuits to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Provide support with mobility and light physical activities, ensuring safety during movement
- Help clients maintain independence by encouraging participation in activities suited to their abilities
- Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior to supervising staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by assisting with light cleaning tasks as appropriate
- Offer companionship during outings or social events to promote community engagement
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and patience
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if needed
- Strong commitment to providing respectful and dignified care tailored to each individual’s needs
- Dog must be friendly and well-behaved. A therapy course would be an asset.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
