Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Geomatics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD tools, field data collection methods and job research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field data collection using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment to gather accurate spatial information.
- Prepare detailed maps, drawings, and plans utilizing AutoCAD and CAD software to support project design and documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of field activities, survey notes, and data logs for future reference and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MicroSurvey CAD software is required.
- Strong skills in data collection methods including GPS technology and total stations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently in the field and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior experience or knowledge of land surveying practices is a plus.
- Relevant educational background in geomatics, surveying, or related fields is preferred.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Paradise, NL A1L 2C4
