We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a busy food production and prepared foods operation in a clean, fast-paced environment.
This role focuses on maintaining and repairing food processing and production equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on:
- Industrial ovens, proofers, and baking equipment
- Food processing machinery (mixers, slicers, grinders, sausage equipment)
- Refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers/freezers)
- Conveyor and light packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with food production standards
- Work closely with production teams to keep operations running efficiently
- Keep basic maintenance records and report recurring issues
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in maintenance or industrial equipment repair
- Experience working with:
- Food processing, bakery, or similar equipment (preferred)
- Mechanical systems and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work independently and handle urgent issues
- Exposure to PLC systems or basic fault troubleshooting is an asset (not required)
- Strong attention to safety and cleanliness standards

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
