Callia Cleaning Services Ltd. is an elite premium agency in Calgary managing an exclusive portfolio of luxury residential homes, commercial daycares, and office clients . We are seeking an authoritative, highly organized, and deeply reliable Working Operations Manager & Field Lead to take 100% operational control of our daily logistics, routes, and field rotations. You will act as the direct right-hand shield to the CEO, managing all field personnel, client updates, and logistics. We provide a fully insured company vehicle and cover 100% of your fuel costs!
IMPORTANT - PHYSICAL LABOR STANDARD:Please note: This is not an office desk job. To lead our company effectively, you must lead by example from the frontline. For the long-term future, you will be actively working directly in the field with our cleaning staff 3 to 4 days a week. This includes heavy physical labor such as carrying heavy vacuums, packing supply bags, mopping floors, and active cleaning inside homes alongside the team to protect our operations.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Team Driving & Field Cleaning: Pick up the company vehicle in SW Calgary, safely transport our cleaning team to their morning routes (9:00 AM start time), and work directly in the field doing active cleaning and carrying equipment.
- Logistics & Route Mapping: Review our weekly calendar and digital maps to design the most fuel-efficient driving routes to save company gas money.
- Staffing & Recruitment: Actively recruit, interview, and onboard new cleaning professionals as we expand our premium referral network.
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for client communications via text and email. Handle schedule adjustment requests and calmly protect company service boundaries.
- Inventory Care: Keep the company vehicle clean, fueled up, and fully stocked with tools and Health Canada-approved sanitizing supplies.
Requirements:
- Must be 25+ years old with a valid, clean Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License and driving abstract (strictly required for our commercial fleet insurance guidelines).
- Minimum of 2–3 years of verifiable experience in a leadership, supervisory, or logistics role (e.g., Lead Hand, Shift Supervisor, Warehouse Lead, or Logistics Coordinator).
- Exceptional, professional English communication skills to confidently text clients and manage staff boundaries.
- Must possess a humble, "can-do" work ethic with zero ego about doing hard manual labor alongside your staff.
- Must be seeking a stable, long-term multi-year career anchor. Job hoppers or temporary applicants will not be considered.
- Absolute Punctuality Standard: Arriving early and maintaining a perfect attendance record is a strict requirement of employment.
- Fearless Problem Solver: You must be completely comfortable making confident, independent decisions under pressure. When staffing call-outs occur, you proactively solve the residential and commercial routing puzzle in real time without passing stress to the CEO.
