Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Supplement Advisor to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for health and wellness, and the ability to provide personalized product recommendations. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating product benefits, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued. The Supplement Advisor plays a key role in driving sales through effective upselling and merchandising while maintaining outstanding customer service standards.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting dietary supplements and health products based on their individual needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on product usage, ingredients, and health benefits
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that adhere to company standards
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves and tracking product availability
- Utilize organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex product information clearly
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of health supplements or wellness products is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
