The A-1 Intermodal Group of Companies is looking for a forklift operator for the Gestion 2000 division providing Distribution, Transport and Logistics services including Air & Ocean Freight, Bonded Customs Clearance.

Position Summary / Overview – The Forklift Operator is Responsible for the safe operation of powered equipment for the purpose of loading / unload vehicles and the moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product throughout the warehouse.
- Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products. Ensures products are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.
- Key Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a forklift.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded. Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
- Complete daily inspection of equipment. Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Comply with all safety, general workplace and CNESST regulations.
- EXPERIENCE OR FORKLIFT LICENSE is an asset.
Hours
- Day Shift.
- The Standard work week is 40 hours.

- The wage for Forklift operators, depending on experience, ranges from $22 - $25 per hour. Overtime is available.
