Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer to join our automotive detailing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality protective film to vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that enhances vehicle appearance and durability. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various tools and automotive components. The PPF Installer will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional vehicle protection services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for film application by cleaning and masking areas as needed
- Measure and cut paint protection film accurately to fit specific vehicle models
- Apply film smoothly and securely using specialized tools, ensuring no bubbles or wrinkles
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist with surface preparation and film installation
- Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring a seamless, professional appearance
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper storage of tools and materials
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and uphold safety standards
- Assist with vehicle detailing and minor repairs as required
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive equipment
- Experience with automotive film application or similar installation work is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during the installation process
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting materials
- Knowledge of vehicle surfaces, paints, and finishes is advantageous
- Mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive systems is beneficial
- Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
