Manual Machinist (Manual Lathe) - Stoney Creek, ON
Our client is looking for a Manual Machinist to join their team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Our client is a well-established company specializing in producing precision components and sub-assemblies for high-demand industries, including aerospace, aircraft, military, medical, optical, and defense.
In this role, you will operate manual lathes, milling, and grinding machines to produce high-quality components within tight tolerances, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality components using manual lathe, milling, and grinding machines.
- Follow AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing and quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Verify dimensions of parts and tools using precision measuring instruments.
- Assemble and install components as required.
- Use deburring/reaming tools, buffing/polishing wheels, and drill presses.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to safety policies, regulations, and company instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure job completion.
- Communicate effectively with managers and team members in writing and verbally.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in machining or a related field preferred
- Tool & die maker certificate an asset
- Strong knowledge of tooling, gauges, and precision measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic computer skills
