We are seeking a reliable and motivated Technician Helper to join our plumbing and gas fitting service team in Edmonton and surrounding areas. This full-time, potential permanent role will involve assisting with the installation and service of furnaces, garage heaters, air conditioners, water heaters, tankless water heaters, water softeners, and related plumbing equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced technician, assisting with tasks like tool handling, drilling, and general site support while learning on the job.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and servicing of furnaces, air conditioners, water heaters, tankless water heaters, water softeners, and related plumbing equipment.
- Support the lead technician by preparing tools, organizing materials, and assisting with basic tasks.
- Help maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Travel to various client locations within the Edmonton area.
- Follow all safety protocols and assist with basic technical tasks under supervision.
- Candidates who demonstrate strong skills, quick learning, and a genuine interest in growth may be offered an apprenticeship to develop into a full technician role.
Requirements:
- Basic experience or strong interest in plumbing, gas fitting, or HVAC-related work.
- Willingness to learn and assist with both technical and manual tasks.
- Ability to travel to client sites across the Edmonton area.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to follow instructions.
- Professional appearance and punctuality.
- Candidates with strong aptitude will be considered for an apprenticeship to grow into a full technician role.
