Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items, ensuring excellent food presentation and taste. This role requires a passion for food preparation, food safety, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. The Pizza Maker will play a key role in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for delicious, fresh, and visually appealing dishes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitation of tools and surfaces
- Assist with food preparation for other menu items as needed
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or during take-out orders
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needed supplies
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper kitchen procedures is desirable
- Familiarity with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen equipment will be advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Pay: $100.00-$232.31 per day
