THE ROLE
Andersen Canada Services Inc. is seeking motivated Co-op/Intern students to join our Firm for a four-month term beginning January 2027. We have three exciting internship opportunities available in our Calgary and Vancouver offices.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cross-border tax, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to meaningful client work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Continue your professional development by reinforcing and expanding your technical and practical skills.
- Work alongside like-minded professionals who specialize in U.S. and Canadian cross-border tax matters.
- Develop solutions in a team environment and work with clients to maximize the value of our tax advisory services.
- Gain exposure to U.S. tax files, as well as research projects and a variety of tax assignments.
At the end of the term, you will have gained valuable practical experience in a specialized cross-border tax practice and developed a strong foundation for the next step in your career.
Responsibilities:
As part of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities associated with Andersen Canada Services Inc.’s clients including:
- Preparation of tax returns
- Corresponding with tax authorities
- Tracking client deadlines
- Paper and electronic document assembly
- Information gathering and analysis of data
- Drafting of correspondence
Requirements:
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree with a focus on accounting
- Strong commitment to client service
- Superior verbal and written communication skills paired with the ability to actively listen
- Ability to demonstrate high-level analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and initiate their resolution
- Ability to effectively work remotely, and in the office, as part of a team located across 4 different provinces
