PoincaréQED Tutoring School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Contract Teacher to join our team for August 1 – August 31, 2026.

Markham, ON (In-person teaching only)
Responsibilities
- Teach Ontario high school Computer Science and/or Physics courses (Grades 9–12)
- Deliver engaging small-group and one-on-one lessons
- Prepare lesson materials, assignments, quizzes and assessments
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in weekly teacher meetings and collaborate with the academic team
- Maintain high teaching standards and professionalism
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or another related STEM field
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario secondary school curriculum
- Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring students
- Available to work full-time (35–40 hours/week) throughout August 1–31, 2026
- Able to teach in person at our Markham campus
Preferred
- Ontario teaching experience
- Experience teaching ICS3U, ICS4U, SPH3U and/or SPH4U
- Master's or Ph.D. in a related field
- Experience teaching AP Computer Science A and/or AP Physics
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday
- Approximately 35–40 hours per week
- Teaching, lesson preparation, meetings and student support
