Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and managing accounting software systems. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. The Financial Controller will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate with senior management to drive financial efficiency and growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct account reconciliations and detailed account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, and other platforms to maintain precise financial records.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion of financial reports.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation for compliance purposes.
- Provide strategic insights through financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering professional development within the team.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within a dynamic organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA.

Pay: $95,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
