Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Detailer / Shop Hand with mechanical experience to join our team. This role involves pressure washing machines, detailing cabs, checking equipment fluid levels & communicating with mechanics, checking machines for damages upon rental return, refueling, and general shop support to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a very strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work outside most of the day.
Responsibilities
- Pressure wash equipment upon rental return - primary duty
- Perform detailed cleaning and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Checking fluid levels, refueling, and greasing machines
- Driving heavy equipment - telehandler and AWP tickets or experience required
- Communicate with technicians about any mechanical issues noticed
- Report refuel amounts and machine damages to management
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Mechanical experience or background a major asset
- Strong attention to detail for cleaning and inspecting machinery
- General duties around the shop to support operations and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of tools, mechanical systems, and safety procedures
- Occasional equipment delivery - clean abstract required
- Physically fit, able to work on your feet and outdoors all day
Candidate could start as part-time and work into a full time position. For full time, minimum of 40 hours per week, additional hours frequently available.
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
