Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and personable Senior Bartender to join our brand new vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, extensive food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing bar operations, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and cleanliness. The Senior Bartender will also assist in training junior staff and maintaining efficient bar service during busy hours, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to provide excellent customer service.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing and change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management.
- Assist in training new bartenders on drink recipes, POS operation, food handling, and service protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and promote a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender with a solid understanding of food industry standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, serving techniques, and food safety procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy.
- Prior experience in food handling, hospitality, or food service industries preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be 19+ years or older with good interpersonal skills and a professional appearance.
