Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care, companionship, and daily living help. This vital role involves fostering a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those receiving hospice or home care services. The ideal candidate will be energetic, empathetic, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve through attentive caregiving and personalized support.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Support clients with mobility challenges through safe transfer techniques and heavy lifting when required
- Monitor health status by observing changes in physical or emotional condition and report findings to healthcare professionals or family members
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments preferred
- Proven experience in patient care, senior care, hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
- Familiarity with caregiving tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and light housekeeping
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 per week
