Cranbrook Flooring Ltd. is seeking an Experienced Flooring Sales Representative to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional who can guide clients through the flooring selection process, prepare accurate estimates and quotations, and manage projects from initial consultation through installation. This role is ideal for someone with previous flooring sales experience who enjoys building relationships and helping customers transform their homes and businesses.
Cranbrook Flooring does not have an LMIA for this position. Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada and must reside in the local area or be willing to relocate.
Sales & Customer Service
- Assist residential customers in selecting flooring and related products.
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and follow-up.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate flooring solutions.
- Follow up on inquiries, estimates, and quotations to secure sales.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming showroom presence.
Estimating & Quotations
- Conduct on-site measurements and project assessments.
- Calculate material and labour requirements.
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations.
- Review project scope, timelines, and installation requirements with customers.
- Ensure projects are quoted profitably and accurately.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with installers, warehouse staff, and suppliers.
- Order materials and schedule deliveries.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues.
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- Minimum 2 years of flooring sales experience.
- Experience in the flooring industry.
- Experience measuring and estimating flooring projects.
- Knowledge of carpet, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, tile, and installation methods.
- Experience with RFMS or similar sales and estimating software is considered an asset.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
