Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Female French Tutor to inspire learners of all ages to develop their language skills and cultural understanding. In this role, you will deliver engaging, personalized lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, fostering confidence and fluency in French. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong commitment to student success, making language learning an exciting journey for each individual.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic French lessons tailored to students’ proficiency levels and learning goals
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different age groups, including children and adults
- Collaborate with parents or guardians for younger students to track development and set achievable objectives
- Keep detailed records of lesson plans, attendance, and student achievements for ongoing evaluation
Experience
- Preferably a Graduate Student from French Immersion High School Program
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching French in classroom or one-on-one settings
- Strong command of French language skills
- Experience working with children and understanding of age-appropriate teaching strategies
- Excellent writing skills for creating lesson materials and assessments
- Prior classroom experience that demonstrates the ability to manage diverse learner needs effectively
- Familiarity with tutoring tools and educational technology to facilitate interactive learning experience
