As our school continues to grow, we are currently seeking a motivated, professional, and highly organized Admissions & Student Recruitment Coordinator to join our team.
The Admissions & Student Recruitment Coordinator will play a key role in managing the admissions process and supporting student recruitment initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as one of the first points of contact for prospective families and will help guide applicants through the enrollment process while promoting the values and programs of King Heights Academy.
This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, schools, and community partners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and experience in admissions, recruiting, customer service, or educational environments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth of our academic community while developing valuable skills in student engagement, recruitment, outreach, and educational administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the student admissions process from initial inquiry to enrollment
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students and families in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule and conduct school tours, meetings, admissions interviews, and information sessions
- Maintain accurate admissions records, student databases, and detailed records of prospective student interactions and follow-up activities
- Follow up with prospective families regarding applications and enrollment documentation
- Assist with student recruitment initiatives, open houses, outreach events, and community engagement activities
- Support the development of marketing materials, communications, social media content, and promotional efforts related to student recruitment
- Work collaboratively with administration and academic staff to ensure prospective students receive appropriate guidance, support, and placement recommendations
- Prepare admissions reports and enrollment updates as required
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the school in a professional manner at all times
- Assist with social media, communications, and outreach initiatives where required
- Support general administrative duties related to admissions and student services
Qualifications
- Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, customer service, education administration, teaching, or a related field is considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong public speaking and presentation abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, friendly, and confident interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general administrative software
- Experience with CRM systems, student information systems, or similar administrative platforms is considered an asset
- Proven recruiting, outreach, and relationship-building skills are considered an asset
- Passion for education and student success
- Ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and diverse audiences
- Experience working in a private school or educational environment is considered an asset
- Marketing and recruitment experience is considered an asset
- Event coordination experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Ontario private school operations is considered an asset
