Hungry Zus is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Support the kitchen staff during busy periods by providing timely cleaning assistance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Restock supplies such as towels, soap, and cleaning agents as necessary
- Assist in waste disposal and recycling processes to maintain a tidy workspace
Skills
- Experience in cleaning within a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards
- Ability to operate commercial dishwashing machines and related equipment
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
