Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, and food areas in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or hospitality industry is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
