Description
This position primarily involves installing propane or fuel tanks at customer properties as part of a two-person team, from loading and transporting the tanks to trenching in lines, leveling and placing slabs and the tanks. The job is physically demanding and involves outdoor work year-round.
This is an entry-level to intermediate position with opportunities to learn equipment operation and develop skills in excavation and tank installation while receiving full-time hours and benefits.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with propane/fuel tank installations and replacements
- Dig trenches manually and with equipment
- Load, transport, and unload tanks and materials
- Level and place tank pads and tanks according to plans
- Perform general labour as needed
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance issues
- Keep customer properties clean and tidy after work
- Follow all safety procedures
- Communicate and coordinate with the installation, warehouse, and dispatch teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Enjoys outdoor, hands-on work, in all weather conditions
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding labour
- Takes pride in quality work and respecting customers' property
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Full G Driver’s license
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Good with People
- Rate of pay will be based on experience.
Assets (Preferred)
- AZ or AR license
- Experience operating mini-excavators, trenchers, trucks, and trailers
- Construction, excavation, or equipment operation experience
