Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Support Staff to join our team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous assistance throughout their visit
- Delivering food, cutlery. and occasionally drinks to tables
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our toast POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchens, and service stations through regular cleaning routines
- Assist with food handling, serving, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
- Support team members in setting up tables, restocking supplies, and managing guest requests, including reservations, large parties and take out orders
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience in kitchen operations, food preparation, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or cashiering experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in hotel or barista roles can be beneficial but is not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Serving It Right is a huge advantage with possible future training in either serving or bartending roles
