Liberty Entertainment Group is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Genaral Manager who will work closely with the General Manager during the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, profitability, and operational excellence in meeting corporate standards at all times. The Manager will be responsible for hiring and managing staff for every guest to receive the best experience possible.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the GM to lead team members to ensure a smooth operation of the restaurant
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service with guests to understand their needs and exceed their expectations
- Contribute to the success of the restaurant by managing operations according to company’s standards
- Consistently review restaurant operations to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members and assess performance on an ongoing basis
- Effectively communicate to the team as directed by the GM
- Lead a positive team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments
- Preparing cash floats and cashing out servers and bartenders
- Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines
- Establish and delegate work duties to staff members as needed
- Assist with staff scheduling, expense tracking, biweekly payroll reports and labour management
- Other related duties assigned by the management
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in a managerial/leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of liquors and wines is an asset
- Strong customer service background and excellent communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to train and delegate
- Ability to work flexible hours, days, shifts including holidays
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
