Position: Full-Stack / Mobile Software Developer

Overview
We're looking for a versatile software developer to join our consulting agency, working across client projects that span mobile and web application development, backend services, and API integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo
- Develop web front-ends and backend services in JavaScript and Python
- Design, build, and consume RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into client applications
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
- Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other developers across multiple client engagements
- Participate in code reviews and testing (unit/integration)
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues across projects
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React Native and Expo (managed and bare workflows)
- Solid Python skills (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, or Django)
- Experience designing and building REST APIs
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable working with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Nice to Have
- Experience with native mobile builds (EAS Build, App Store/Play Store deployment)
- Familiarity with state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
- Experience working in an agency/consulting environment with multiple concurrent clients
- Docker/containerization experience
Soft Skills
- Strong communication (agency work often means direct client interaction)
- Ability to context-switch between projects
- Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguous or evolving requirements
Pay: $65,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Calgary, AB
