Fireplaces by Cameron is hiring a Construction & Installation Labourer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, physical rolesupporting fireplace installations, showroom operations, and warehouse logistics. If you’re reliable, motivated, and want a real career path in the trades, this role can lead to installer, wood inspector, or gas fitter certification.
This is not a repetitive labour job — every day is different.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with fireplace installations (gas, wood, electric)
- Job site preparation, protection, clean-up, and finishing support
- Work directly with lead installers and technicians
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
- Support warehouse operations and inventory organization
- Assist with showroom setup, displays, and organization
- Maintain a clean, professional job site (often in occupied homes)
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Construction, labour, or hands-on experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using tools and working on job sites
- Physically capable (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Professional attitude — cleanliness and customer respect are critical
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
