About the Opportunity and NSCR
NSCR is seeking a Programs Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of child and family programs, including funding oversight, reporting, and team leadership. This is a leadership-forward role focused on staff development, program sustainability, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:
People & Team Leadership
· Lead, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary team
· Build accountability frameworks, performance development plans
· Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement
· Oversee workforce planning, hiring, and HR processes
Program & Operational Leadership
· Oversee delivery of multiple funded programs (Child Care Resource and Referral [CCRR], Community Action Program for Children [CAPC], etc.)
· Ensure program performance, outcomes tracking, and reporting
· Develop systems, processes, and service improvements
Financial, Funding & Partnerships
· Lead funding strategies, grant development, and reporting
· Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial accountability
· Build and maintain strategic partnerships across government and community
· Represent the organization with funders and stakeholders
What You Bring:
· Leadership & Management Experience – 5 + years leading teams, including coaching, performance management, and team engagement; experience managing through complexity, change, or multi-site/service environments
· Program & Operational Leadership – Experience overseeing programs, services, or portfolios with measurable outcomes; strong systems thinking and ability to improve processes and delivery
· Financial & Funding Experience – Experience managing budgets, reporting, and/or working with funded programs; exposure to grant writing, funder relationships, or contract oversight is a strong asset
· Communication & External Relations – Strong written communication, including reporting and proposals; confidence representing an organization with partners and stakeholders
· Sector Experience (An Asset, Not Required) – Experience in non-profit, community services, health, or early years sectors; knowledge of child and family services or CCRR is an asset-but not required
