Bryson Enterprise in Fond Du Lac,Sk. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, and the operation of heavy equipment and power tools. Have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship. This role involves a variety of tasks related to construction and renovation projects, requiring both physical strength and technical skills. The Carpenter will work closely with other laborer to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Duties
- Perform flooring installation, ensuring precise measurements and quality finishes.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for material handling and structural assembly.
- Assist in heavy lifting and transporting materials to job sites.
- Operate CNC machinery for cutting and shaping materials as needed.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks, including assembly and restoration work.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks with precision and adherence to specifications.
- Engage in masonry tasks as required, contributing to building structures or features.
- Provide maintenance person services for minor repairs and maintenance tasks on-site.
- Assemble frameworks for roofs, walls, and other structures according to blueprints or specifications.
- Assist with restoration projects, including siding installation and carpentry work.
- Install drywall and ensure proper finishing techniques are applied for a seamless appearance.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction or related fields such as concrete finishing, carpentry, or restoration work.
- Proficiency in flooring installation techniques and materials.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools and heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools used in carpentry and construction.
- Skills in restoration techniques for various materials and surfaces.
- Construction experience involving concrete forming or finishing is preferred
- Familiarity with masonry work, including bricklaying or stone setting.
- General maintenance person skills for minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Competence in assembling structural components such as roofs and walls.
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing processes is desirable.
- Experience with siding installation or woodworking is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment.
