About the Role
Frost Building Systems is looking for a Delivery Driver / Shop Associate to support our operations team with parts and equipment transport, yard logistics, and shop duties. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable behind the wheel, on a forklift, and pitching in wherever the day requires.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Deliveries
- Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and equipment using company trailers ranging from 12' to 40'
- Plan routes and coordinate delivery timing with dispatch, technicians, Project Managers and customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic trailer hook-up/hitching
Equipment Operation
- Safely operate forklifts and telehandlers to load, unload, and stage materials
- Move large skids and equipment around the yard as needed
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report any mechanical issues
Shop & Yard Duties
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Organize and maintain yard and shop storage areas
- Assist with inventory movement and general shop upkeep
Job Site Support
- Assist technicians and crews on job sites as required
- Help with material handling, setup, and general labour support when needed
Requirements
- Valid AR Licence (required)
- Experience operating forklifts and telehandlers (certification an asset; training may be provided)
- Comfortable towing and maneuvering trailers up to 40'
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding shop/yard environment
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel to job sites and assist crews as needed
- Clean driver's abstract
