Our company is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport product to our customers. The successful candidate will be proficient in driving a delivery van, motivated and hardworking. The ideal candidate has a background in transportation and logistics and will work with management to develop exceptional customer relationships and promote our product.
What You Will Do
- Execute Daily Deliveries: Drive a company vehicle safely along an assigned route to complete scheduled drop-offs.
- Handle Heavy Lifting: Load and unload heavy water softener salt bags (20 kg / 44 lbs)
- Provide Excellent Service: Carry products directly to the customer's preferred storage area, such as a garage or basement.
- Change Customer’s In Home Filters
- Manage Invoices & Payments: Process delivery receipts, collect customer payments, and track transactions digitally using our mobile app.
- Maintain Vehicle Safety: Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Support the Warehouse: Assist with loading delivery trucks and organizing inventory when not on active road routes.
What You Bring
- Valid Driver’s Licence: A clean driving record and a valid G licence
- Physical Capability: Ability to repetitively lift, push, pull, and carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
- Customer-First Attitude: Polite, friendly personality with a professional appearance and great communication skills.
- Tech Literacy: Ability to navigate via GPS and use a smartphone or tablet app for electronic logging.
- Experience: Previous experience in local route delivery, warehouse work, or physically demanding customer service is preferred.
