The successful candidate will provide and represent Murchie’s high standards in customer service, product knowledge and store presentation when selling retail and foodservice products creating and maintaining a loyal customer base.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drink as much tea and coffee as you desire and have fun doing it!
- Welcomes, greets, and approaches all customers.
- Engages with customers to determine needs.
- Develops a thorough knowledge of products
- Interacts with customer referencing product knowledge
- Participates in store promotions and initiatives.
- Leads store operations in the manager’s absence.
- Supports store and leads team by example
- Ensures store is ready for business, maintaining stock and presentation of displays.
- Daily operations – opening, customer service, ordering, closing duties
- Handles cash accurately
- Produce Barista tea and coffee beverages
- Maintains retail and foodservice merchandise.
- Assists with total store cleanliness.
- Fluent in English, second language an asset.
- Flexible in scheduling, able to work a variety of shifts
- Valid Food Safe certificate
- Available 20-30 hours per week
