Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, patient records, and administrative tasks with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing excellent patient service. Prior experience in dental offices, along with proficiency in electronic dental records systems, is highly valued. Speaking Cantonese and Mandarin is an asset.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using LogicTech
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, appointment requests, and patient communications
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic records accordingly
- Collect payments and process billing
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with front desk administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure patient flow runs smoothly throughout the day
- Prepare and manage patient paperwork and forms for appointments and procedures
Skills
- Past experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office setting
- Strong knowledge of dental office software such as LogicTech is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly customer service approach
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and records
- Office experience that demonstrates administrative competence and professionalism
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
