Mosquito.Buzz helps homeowners enjoy their outdoor spaces with professional mosquito control services. We are hiring a motivated and experienced Door-to-Door Sales Manager to lead our canvassing team in Ottawa and the surrounding area.
Position Overview
The Door-to-Door Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating a team of door-to-door sales representatives. This role requires strong leadership, communication, sales, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate has experience in canvassing, direct sales, team supervision, or field sales management.
You will help ensure the team is working assigned areas effectively, delivering strong sales presentations, generating qualified leads, and representing Mosquito.Buzz professionally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of door-to-door sales representatives
- Organize daily canvassing routes and assigned territories
- Train new sales representatives on scripts, expectations, and best practices
- Coach team members in the field to improve communication and performance
- Monitor daily activity, lead generation, and sales results
- Motivate the team to meet or exceed performance targets
- Ensure representatives are following company standards and procedures
- Support sales presentations and help close opportunities when needed
- Review lead quality and ensure accurate reporting/admin follow-up
- Provide feedback to management on team performance, territory results, and customer insights
- Handle basic customer questions or escalations professionally
- Represent Mosquito.Buzz in a positive and professional manner
Requirements
- Previous sales, canvassing, or door-to-door experience preferred
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable
- Resilience and ability to stay positive in a field sales environment
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods
- Comfortable working afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to and from Ottawa and surrounding work areas
- Cell phone required
