THE POSITION
The Plant Manager is responsible for leading and developing our manufacturing team while ensuring our production systems, people, and processes continuously improve.
This is primarily a leadership and administrative role rather than a technical production position. Our technical leaders oversee specialized manufacturing areas such as CNC machining and edgebanding. The Plant Manager's focus is building a strong team, creating accountability, improving communication, and ensuring our production systems operate efficiently.
The successful candidate will be passionate about developing people, creating clear expectations, measuring performance, and building a positive culture focused on continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong hiring, coaching and employee development skills.
· Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
· Ability to build accountability while maintaining positive working relationships.
· Experience leading teams through continuous improvement initiatives.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Comfortable using KPIs, production schedules and performance scorecards.
· Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
· Committed to workplace safety and quality.
· Cabinet manufacturing experience is considered an asset but is not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead the daily morning production meetings.
· Lead Monthly scorecard meetings with department leaders.
· Work closely with Scheduling to establish production priorities and maintain production flow.
· Communicate production risks early and develop solutions before deadlines are impacted.
· Recruit, hire, onboard and develop manufacturing employees.
· Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and employee development.
· Support department leaders while holding them accountable for their individual goals and KPIs.
· Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
· Oversee the ongoing development of Standard Operating Procedures and production systems.
· Work with the Safety Lead and Maintenance Lead to ensure both programs are continuously improving and properly documented.
· Foster a positive, organized and accountable workplace culture.
· Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Scheduling and Ownership to achieve company objectives.

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
