Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Assembler & Prepper to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and assembling vehicle bodies with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality repairs and restorations. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair, familiarity with hand and power tools, and the physical capability for heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle bodies for repair or assembly, including sanding, masking, and surface preparation
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble or disassemble parts accurately
- Repair or replace damaged panels, frames, or structural components as needed
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality specifications
- Assist in the application of paint or primer when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment
- Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Background in automotive repair or as a mechanic is advantageous
- Familiarity with automotive body assembly, prep work, and repair techniques

Pay: $20.21-$39.42 per hour
